Sullivan Rep is the Greater Boston area’s newest nonprofit professional theater. Founded this past January after many years of dreaming, planning, and action, Sullivan Rep aims to offer a unique professional opportunity for our theater artists, resulting in professional-level entertainment for our audiences to enjoy. Our rehearsal period is intentionally a much shorter process than most, as this allows us to be more accessible to artists who maintain other careers.
By keeping a repertory company of recurring performers throughout each season, we can create a familiarity and connection between performers and audiences. Sullivan Rep’s goal is to infuse theater of professional caliber with a strong sense of community, and to create a space where both artists and audiences can be a part of the family.
