An orchestral concert of music that holds hope and levity even in the face of fear and despair, featuring new & old works!
"If winter comes, can spring be far behind?" In these wintry years, we have had much to fear and many to mourn - but let us share some music together, which will help to remind us that there is hope on the horizon. Come join the Horizon Ensemble for an afternoon concert of orchestral landscapes.
We'll begin with Abraham López Díaz's The Pit and the Pendulum, based on the Edgar Allan Poe short story, and Lara Poe's Cold Evenings, a chilling evocation of winter. Afterwards, we will perform
