"Fired UP!" A Call for Equality and Activism

Cantilena, a women’s chorus based in Arlington MA, will be performing a concert program which focuses on uplifting marginalized voices and calls for equality and the protection of individual rights.

Artistic Director Elinor A. Armsby has chosen two outstanding selections to anchor the spring program.

The major work presented this May is “Lifting as we Climb'' written in 2019 by Joan Szymko to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment's passage to the US Constitution. $25 at the door (cash/check preferred)
$22.50 in advance
$20 students and seniors

Admission is free for accompanied children 12 and under.​

The Card to Culture program, a collaboration between Mass Cultural Council and the Department of  Transitional Assistance, Massachusetts Health Connector, and Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, broadens accessibility to cultural programming.
