Cantilena invites the community to explore the natural world and the role it plays in our lives as reflected in poetry and song. This unique program pairs the two art forms by interweaving a selection of readings with choral settings of poems. The guest artist, Arlington’s Poet Laureate Jean Flanagan, has chosen the works of several local poets to complement Artistic Director Elinor A. Armsby’s musical selection.
