The Embrace Ideas Festival is a yearly celebration of ideas grounded in arts, culture and public scholarship. This week-long gathering brings together local, state and national leaders to amplify anti-racism and a vision for a transformed Boston.
On Day 4 of Embrace Ideas Festival, hosted by WGBH, we explore the hope and possibility of reparations - a movement that has gained tremendous momentum over the last few years. King Boston’s Deputy Director, Tammy Tai, explores the history of the reparations movement and current state of affairs, with national male co-chair of the National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America (N’COBRA), Kamm Howard, author of Laying the Foundation for Local Reparations.
