Caribbean Ancestors: Surfing Anglican Records Online

This workshop, led by genealogist Sandra Taitt-Eaddy, highlights documentary evidence, records and resources specific to the “English speaking islands in the Caribbean.” The most accessible and useful of these is a collection of Anglican Church registers spanning hundreds of years. For most of the British colonial era, the church created these vital records for the state. Join Taitt-Eaddy to investigate various time periods, and identify the data the church chose to collect. She’ll include tips and techniques for interpreting these records and how to make use of what you find.
