The Wondrous Worlds of William Bartlett

The Guild of Boston Artists is proud to present The Wondrous Worlds of William Bartlett in the Presidents’ Gallery of its Newbury street location from November 5 – December 3. The show, comprised of 60 of the works made over the course of a 20-year career, explore truth, beauty, and realism. Some works question whether trompe l’oeil is a precise replication or a deception of perceived reality. The show’s subject matter is varied; many conjure narratives, some are curious or playful, but all embody the artist’s perception of beauty.
