Art Exhibition: "What Nature Whispers" Paintings by Christina Mastrangelo

For What Nature Whispers, her debut solo exhibition at the Guild, Mastrangelo offers a meditation on the delicate affinities between nature and humans. Inspired by the natural world and compelled to find grounding and peace in her surroundings, the artist carefully orchestrates conversations between still life, figure, flora, and fauna that suggest the depth and interconnectedness of us all. In tribute to their existence, each figure or object is carefully and realistically rendered, and yet the subtle idealizations and compositional choices lead us beyond mere representation into the captivating realm of the sublime.

The exhibition will feature 40 paintings and drawings spanning from the later years of the artist’s education in Florence to the present day, including 27 new artworks making their debut at this show! To accompany the exhibition, the Guild will host an Opening Reception on June 8th from 3-5pm with an Artist Demonstration to follow on June 22nd beginning at 2pm.
