2Slick is fronted by trombonists Steve Piermarini and Wayne Branco, and includes pianist John Arcaro, bassist Stephan Arsenault and drummer Mark Branco. The band features the music of JJ Johnson and Kai Winding.
Featuring a front line of two trombones and a fantastic rhythm section, 2Slick brings a new and different sound to the classic jazz quintet. Trombonists Steve Piermarini and Wayne Branco take an approach based on the musical partnership of J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding, who led a very successful two trombone group in the 1950s and 60s.
