Featuring a front line of two trombones and a fantastic rhythm section, 2Slick brings a new and different sound to the classic jazz quintet. Trombonists Steve Piermarini and Wayne Branco take an approach based on the musical partnership of J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding, who led a very successful two trombone group in the 1950s and 60s. Besides featuring many of the arrangements that J and K did, we also have some fresh new charts on jazz standards which were written for the group by Steve.

Rounding out our lineup is a fabulous rhythm section which includes Stephan Arsenault on bass, John Arcaro on piano, and Mark Branco on drums.
