Bella, An Immigrant's Tale

A one-woman show about an early 20th century survivor of the Russian pogroms who makes a new life for herself in America. Performed as a fundraiser for current Ukrainian refugees.

Actor and playwright Vicki Summers will perform her one-woman show, Bella, An Immigrant’s Tale, as a fundraiser for Ukrainian refugees on Wednesday, May 25, at The Cabot Theater in Beverly. Summers plays numerous characters as the play follows the life journey of her beloved grandmother, Bella Indianer, an immigrant from Ukraine who escaped the pogroms and made a life in America at the beginning of the 20th century. ADMISSION INFO

Admission is by donation; suggested donation levels are $25, $50, and $100 per person. Registration is recommended, but there will be tickets available at the door if the event is not sold out in advance. Register at thecabot.org.

All donations will go directly to aid Ukrainian refugees through Red Cross Ukraine, the International Rescue Committee, and the  World Central Kitchen (Chefs for Ukraine).

PARKING INFO

There is no patron parking at the theater but there are many options within walking distance. Show nights are busy nights for the area. Affordable metered parking is available on Cabot Street and on many side streets in the area. There are two municipal lots on Pond Street just one block from the theater. Additional lots are located in the surrounding area.
