Joe Hunt Jazz Quartet

Modern jazz repertoire including composers: Bill Evans, Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Charlie Parker, and others, as

well as original compositions by pianist/vocalist Yuka Hamano Hunt. Mark Pinto is the alto saxophonist, John Lockwood

is the bassist, and Joe Hunt on drums. Mark toured with Buddy Rich and Artie Shaw bands. John is no stranger to Boston

jazz scene as he is the bassist with “The Fringe”, and formerly with Joe Henderson. Joe is the veteran of the group having

had an illustrious jazz performance/recording career in the ’60’s with Bill Evans, Stan Getz, George Russell and others.
