Since 1971, Publick Theatre Boston has invited audiences of all backgrounds to "experience the power of the spoken word", renowned for its outdoor production of classical and contemporary works at its amphitheater venue on the banks of the Charles River in Christian Herter Park. Since 2008, The Publick has produced year-round as a Resident Theatre Company at the Boston Center for the Arts. garnering critical acclaim as Boston’s only professional theatre dedicated to both indoor and outdoor presentations.
