Welcome to L’Academie, a chamber orchestra and choir for Baroque music. It is our pleasure to invite you to our inaugural 2008-09 season at Marsh Chapel of Boston University. Our February program is an exploration of French dance suites by Rameau, Muffat and Lully. Our April program will feature late works for voices and instruments by Claudio Monteverdi: the Selva Morale e Spirituale and his Eighth Book of Madrigals. We look forward to sharing this exciting debut season with you.
