Zoë Knight, Berklee Professor of Voice, has been composing & performing original music for twenty five years. A classically trained soprano raised on classic rock, she led original psychedelic rock & metal bands in Boston & NYC for ten years before earning her degree in Music Education from Berklee College of Music.
An old school soul and R&B belter, Zoe might remind you of Anne Pebbles, Aretha Franklin, or even Janis Joplin. “Zoë has a uniquely electrifying voice that moves easily from soul-jazz to funk-rock to mystical.” – Steve Morse, Boston Globe. With a great funky band that includes guitar, saxophone and organ behind her, Zoe delivers with an irresistible energy that always has her audience moving.
