On November 14th from 2 pm to 4 pm, The W Gallery proudly presents ZAHILI. Composer, arranger and pianist Zahili Gonzalez Zamora, expanding from her former trio, MIXCLA, is thrilled to share news of her new and self–titled quintet. The group features new Afro-Latin sounds arranged and composed by Zahili, and boasts other members from Cuba, Panama and Colombia. The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
