On June 11th at 7pm, Puerto Rican writer, performer, and educator Yara Liceaga will be presenting her poetry on Facebook Live. Liceaga is a recognized writer who has received various grants and fellowships for her poetry. She is the author of various poetry books as well as the coordinator of the multidisciplinary art series, “Poetry is Busy”. She has been writing and inspiring for years and was a columnist for the Buscapié section of Nuevo Dia, a Puerto Rican Newspaper. Today she offers creative writing, grant writing, and arts workshops in English and Spanish and aims to inspire and engage with her community.
