To celebrate the virtual opening of Taking Shape: Abstraction from the Arab World, 1950s–1980s, the McMullen Museum invites guests to join Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi,  Founder of the Barjeel Art Foundation and Visiting Instructor at Boston College, for a virtual tour and Q+A session on the exhibition. Al Qassemi will introduce major themes in Taking Shape and will offer background and  anecdotes on how the collection and the exhibition came together.
