Virtual Kids & Families: Exploring Collage Workshop (Ages 5–12)

The McMullen Museum invites children and families for a virtual Zoom workshop to explore the artistic use of collage.

Inspired by Wangechi Mutu’s I’m too Misty collage in Indian Ocean Current: Six Artistic Narratives, the McMullen Museum invites children and families for a virtual Zoom workshop to explore the artistic use of collage. Following a virtual dive into the galleries and an introduction to Mutu as well as additional artists and movements that employed collage in their works, visitors will make a portrait using materials found around the house and neighborhood.
