"Words Scattered" by Thomas Ingmire, unique book
Thomas Ingmire speaks on his calligraphy in Bromer Gallery’s “Word for Word: Four Artists in Conversation.”
On Tuesday, September 20th, Thomas Ingmire will offer a short lecture on his books on display in “Word for Word.” Much of Ingmire’s interest resides in the expressive potential of calligraphy, and during his talk he will speak to the ways in which he balances the conscious effort of art with the evocative, impressionistic mood visualized in his books.
