Urbanity NEXT returns for its eighth year to showcase rising choreographers from the greater Boston area and NYC.
Urbanity NEXT returns for its eighth year to showcase rising choreographers from the greater Boston area and NYC. Choreographers are selected from a wide pool of applicants and are given a four-month residency during which they develop their work with both Urbanity's Professional Company and Creative Class. Choreographers include Haley Day, Junichi Fukuda (FukuDance), Key'Aira Lockett, L. James O'Gilvie, Celia Morris, Charly Santagado (mignolo dance), and Jacob Regan.
