Vance) to embark on a road trip across 1950s New England. While searching for his missing father (Michael Kenneth Williams), they encounter both the terrors of white, Jim Crow America and monsters that could be ripped from the pages of an H.P. She sold Roy Lichtenstein’s “Masterpiece” for $165 million in order to start the Art for Justice Fund, which works to reform the American criminal justice system and end mass incarceration. In this new film, Emmy-nominated director Catherine Gund (Born to Fly, Chavela) focuses on her mother’s pioneering journey to harness the power of art to transform consciousness and inspire social change.
