About RKO Army

The RKO Army is a shadowcast based out of Rhode Island primarily performing in the southern New England area since 1981. We have had on-going runs at two dozen cinemas over the decades. We have also performed as guests at a long list of theaters, conventions, universities, clubs, and parades.

Known primarily for our legendary performances of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, we have mastered other fan-favorite productions.  The current list of alternative productions includes Shock Treatment, REPO! The Genetic Opera,  Doctor Horrible’s Sing-A-Long Blog, Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s “Once More with Feeling”, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Room, and our self-made RKO Horror Picture Show.

We have hosted the National Rocky Horror Conventions for the 38th, 41st, and 44th Anniversaries. We will again in 2022 in Providence.
