On Wednesday, Dec. 15, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Old North Church & Historic Site will host artist, educator, and activist L\’Merchie Frazier and playwright Peter Snoad on Zoom for a discussion of the 19th-century Black abolitionist’s seminal text and how the history-changing pamphlet’s charges of greed, hypocrisy, and indifference remain relevant today. This talk will be the second of a three-part series dedicated to Walker, his work, and his legacy, and reflects Old North’s commitment to telling stories of active citizenship and courageous, compassionate leadership throughout Boston’s history.
