The New Drawing Room

Presented by MassArt x SoWa at MassArt x SoWa, Boston MA

Sep 14 - 25 2022
The New Drawing Room

J. Chen Songbird and Soul Eyes, diptych; Williamson - A Girl Enhanced.

Come together to contemplate the distressing nature of our current state in a world of vibrant colors.

MassArt x SoWa is pleased to present the fourth in our series of graduate alumni curatorial projects, The New Drawing Room, on view from August 20 - September 25, 2022.

The exhibition is curated by Pam Hart (MassArt MFA '11 Fine Arts Low Residency), with collaborative support from Kate True.

Unlike the imperial and gilded-age drawing rooms of the past, which were the exclusive province of the upper classes and the elite, The New Drawing Room is a space where everyone is welcome to join
