Join WBUR for a celebration honoring The Makers, 15 emerging artists of color making an impact in Greater Boston. The Makers is a reimagining of our ARTery 25 series and highlights the creatives who are shaping the culture and arts landscape.

This free event will be the culmination of a weeklong online and on-air editorial series from WBUR's arts and culture team. Meet the honorees and enjoy an evening of special performances to be announced.

The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
