Thru some mysterious musical alchemy, the Blue Ribbons manage to combine enough disparate musical and literary concepts to inspire one critic to fittingly describe them as “Ray Charles and Tom Waits on a pirate ship with Sun Ra and Captain Beefheart,”

The Fallout Shelter is a non-profit video recording studio masquerading as an 80 seat 1940’s nightclub in the basement of an 18th century mill building in Norwood, Ma.   A music refuge of sorts for both artists and audiences.  Texas/Australia bluesman, Steve Lott recently described the Fallout Shelter as “one of the finest, most unique music venues in the world.”
