Tagore's Love Letters to Mother Earth - Songs of Harmony

A compilation of songs written and composed by Rabindranath Tagore,  the polymath of Bengal, India. Originally planned for the Earth Day in March, the songs depict man’s intimate connection with the environment and the universe. This will be a multi-media presentation with performers Maitreyee Chakraborty, Monami Roy, Dhruva Acharyya, and Raka Datta in which the English translation of the lyrics will be shown. You will enjoy Indian instruments like tabla and harmonium being played.  This concert is presented by “Tagore, Me, and You” and supported by the Robbins Library and the Arlington Cultural Council, a part of Mass Cultural Council.
