Monika Ille will discuss her career in media and share her thoughts on Storytelling Sovereignty. Monika is a member of the Abenaki First Nation of Odanak and is CEO of Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) the first Indigenous-owned media company in the world. She has built a rich and diverse portfolio over the course of nearly 30 years in the broadcasting industry.
