Thursday, May 9, 2-3:30 pm ET in the Arlington Community Center Lounge, 27 Maple St., Arlington MA
Neurodiversity is a framework for understanding human brain function and mental illness. Within our unique selves, how do we face our limitations and discover new strengths? When we experience someone’s reaction to neurodiversity, how do we handle painful ignorance (including our own) …or welcome kindness? Let’s learn from each other’s stories.
Come to share your thoughts, feelings and experiences around neurodivergence, or just come to watch. Laugh, cry, and gain new insights and connections as True Story’s actors and musicians empathetically embody the heart of what is shared.
Suggested donation $15. All are welcome. No one turned away for lack of money.
Sponsored by the Arlington Council on Aging and the Arlington Commission on Disability.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture (ACAC), a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
