Presented by Robbins Library at Online/Virtual Space

Sep 10 2020
Stephano: The True Story of Shakespeare’s Shipwreck

A free, online Arlington-only film screening followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker.

In this exclusive joint local broadcast and online event, ACMi and Robbins Library host an Arlington-only screening of Stephano: The True Story of Shakespeare’s Shipwreck. Two-time Emmy nominated producer Andrew Buckley and his crew of Hit and Run History are hot on the trail of the Stephen Hopkins, a Virginia-bound castaway who found his way not only onto the decks of the Mayflower a decade later, but immortalized on stage at the drunken Stephano in Shakespeare’s final play, The Tempest.
