Spotlight on New Works Play Reading: Day Job by Martha Douglas-Osmundson

Spotlight Playhouse is proud to announce the Spotlight on New Works Play Reading Series with our very first reading of Day Job by playwright Martha Douglas-Osmundson. The reading and talkback will be streamed online Friday April 16th at 7:30.

Day Job explores the Art we make and its relationship to our dreams, aspirations, and actions. We expect that this first new work will feel especially relevant to our Spotlight Playhouse audiences, production teams and performing artists.

As playwrights work to illuminate the human condition, they have many considerations in the creation of a final work. With these free readings, Spotlight on New Works Play Reading Series hopes to aid local New England playwrights while showing our audiences aspects of this playwriting process that bring the work from paper to the stage.
