Special Exhibits at the Sandwich Glass Museum: Glint & Glimmer and For the Love of Glass

For the Love of Glass exhibits selected sculptures from a private collection with an eye on Pacific Northwest Glass Artists.  Renown Glass Masters such as Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra and Benjamin Moore, mentored and influenced many of today’s leading artists such at William Morris, Nancy Callan, Kait Rhoads, Richard Marquis and more.

Glint & Glimmer, features exquisite glass artworks from a Cape Cod Collector: a multi-generational collection started with the collector’s parents’ passion for glass. Richard Royal, Martin Rosol, Toland Sand and studio glass pioneer, Harvey Littletons’s works are featured.

Both of these collections have been carefully curated over decades, and the pieces in these exhibits share some of the most profound artistry the medium has to offer.

The show will be on view from November 17th, 2023 – March, 2024.

Opening reception for the show on Friday November 17th from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Museum. This event is open to the public and free to attend.
