Shea Justice's Layered Time Exhibition

SPOKE proudly presents Scrolls of Justice, work by renowned Boston artist Shea Justice, the fourth and final solo exhibition in our Layered Time series. Justice will exhibit several of his scrolls, many of which are hundreds of feet long, that provide the artist’s singular creative response to war, politics, current affairs, pop culture, and social and racial justice. The installation will be on view to the public beginning Monday September 13th in the new SPOKE Gallery in South Boston, followed by a hybrid-format (Zoom & in-person) reception and gallery talk on Wednesday, September 29th.

Layered Time is a series of four solo exhibitions connected thematically by visual artists who explore facets of time through painting, drawing, video, and multimedia. The three additional artists exhibiting in this series are David Lloyd Brown, Naoe Suzuki, and Allison Maria Rodriguez.
