Join the McMullen Museum of Art and the Boston College Film Society for its ‘screen on the green’ showing of Ghost World (2001).
In connection with American Alternative Comics, 1980–2000: Raw, Weirdo, and Beyond, the McMullen Museum and the Film Society are teaming up for its first ‘screen on the green’ on the lawn behind the Museum. Ghost World (2001), starring Thora Birch, Scarlett Johansson, Brad Renfro, Illeana Douglas, and Steve Buscemi, is based on the 1993–97 comic book of the same name by Daniel Clowes. Bring a blanket or a chair; we’ll provide movie snacks.
