Roald Dahl's Matilda, the Musical
When an exceptional little girl is born into a family that does not value intelligence, honesty, or kindness, it will take some cleverness with a side of superpowers to put things right. Matilda inspires her classmates and even her teacher, Miss Honey, to stick up for themselves and change the narrative of their stories. After all, “sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty”.
The show is recommended for ages 6 and up
Prices for Wheelock Family Theatre at Boston University productions are based on where you sit:

Section B – $36 (Side Orchestra & Mid Mezzanine)
Section C – $24 (Front/Side Orchestra & Mezzanine)
ADA Seats – $24 – $48 (Last row Orchestra)
Wheelock Family Theatre is committed to providing an inclusive environment. The WFT@BU ticketing model includes all price levels in both the orchestra and mezzanine sections. WFT@BU continues to strive to make theater accessible for all and has never turned away a patron for an inability to pay.
Our theatre seats 600 in a comfortable, tiered auditorium. The 21 rows provide intimacy with the actors on stage, and there is excellent visibility, with no obstructions, from all seats. The first 10 rows in the orchestra section are on a slight slope heading down toward the raised stage. The remaining 11 rows (mezzanine section) are similar to a stadium style seating where there is a stair/step between each row. i.e. to get to row AA, you must go up one step, row BB, up two steps, etc.
