Queer Body in Ecstasy

The Dorchester Art Project has announced that it will be hosting Georden West’s exhibition Queer Body In Ecstasy. This immersive installation will expand on mysticism, queer fashion, and the haunting aesthetics that define West’s body of work.

The show is inspired by West’s evolving perspective of the queer body, from their childhood raised in a Franciscan community to their current status as an installation artist, nonbinary person, and accomplished filmmaker. “Patron Saint,” their most recent work, was recently awarded Gold at the Student Academy Awards.
