Boston Cecilia presents Songs of the Old and New Worlds

Boston Cecilia will present songs of Dvořák and Brahms, Burleigh’s moving arrangement of the spiritual “My Lord What A Morning” and a rich selection of choral pieces by American composers Amy Beach, Aaron Copland, Nathaniel Dett, Charles Ives, Rosephayne Powell, Zanaida Robles, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor and George Walker.

Public Transportation

On the MBTA Green Line C Branch: Get off at the Dean Road stop. You will see the church across the street. On the MBTA Green Line D Branch: Get off at the Beaconsfield stop. Walk through the parking lot and turn left onto Beaconsfield Road. After one block, at the stop sign, turn right onto Dean Road, the church is on your left at the corner.

Parking
Parking is available on both sides of Beacon Street, on the median strip on the westbound side of Beacon Street, on Dean Road on the side opposite the park, and in the residential areas around the church. Brookline has a two-hour parking limit on all streets from 6:00 a.m.to 1:00 a.m. Overnight parking on the street is prohibited. For parking rules see the Town of Brookline Parking.
