Boston New Music Initiative presents Prismatic Congruency!

Join The Boston New Music Initiative for a fun night of music for one to three players. The lineup will include two world premieres, two crowd favorites from this season’s online Prismatic Congruency series, two performances by RE:duo, a piece for solo recorder and finally, a piece for audience and violin. That is a full, varied and exciting lineup! Come listen and perform with us on May 21 at 5pm at University Lutheran in Cambridge.

The Showdown puts the best Fusion and Bollywood/Hindi-Film dance teams up against one another, giving the judges the unenviable task of deciding who is the best of the best. Fusion dance combines different dance styles, set to Indian music, creating its own distinct form of dance, while the Bollywood and Hindi-Film dance style is inspired by the musical numbers seen in Indian films and features expression, themes, and storylines.
