Ode to Joy celebrates the shared triumph over adversity and unwavering resiliency of the human spirit! Special guest, associate concertmaster for the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Alexander Velinzon joins us for Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, a gorgeous piece pairing soloist with orchestra for a double dose of beauty. And then fate comes knocking with those four famous notes: da, da, da, da! Beethoven’s popular, Symphony No. 5, completes this special program honoring one of the most innovative and influential composers of all time.
