Pianist Yukiko Sekino

Summer Free Concerts at NEC – concert 10

Pianist Yukiko Sekino, faculty of NEC-Prep and an Affiliate Artist at MIT, was the Gold Medalist of the 2006 International Russian Music Piano Competition and a winner of the S&R Foundation’s Washington Award.
A soloist noted for her performances of Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, and 21st century works, Yukiko Sekino will perform at the 2023 Summer FREE Concerts @ NEC 夏日系列音樂會 on Monday, Aug 21, 7:30 pm at NEC’s Williams Hall. Program includes:

Debussy: Images, Book II, L. 111
Scriabin: 24 Preludes, Op. 11, Nos: 1, 2, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14
Beethoven: Sonata in C, Op. 53 (“Waldstein”)
Ravel: Miroirs
