NEC faculty and internationally renowned pianist Minsoo Sohn plays Liszt’s Consolations and Transcendental Études at Jordan Hall, Friday, 03/08, 8pm.
Pianist Minsoo Sohn earned his Artist Diploma in 2004 from NEC under the guidance of Russell Sherman and Wha Kyung Byun. The New York Times described him as a "genuine artist, with a thoughtfully conceived and poetic interpretation." The Boston Globe praised Sohn “for playing with a thrilling, personal, hall-filling sound that is also flexible, vocal, and immediate; he was born to play the piano. “
