Pianist J J Bui

Canadian pianist JJ Jun Li Bui, the 6th prize winner of the International Chopin Piano Competition 2021 at the age of 17, the youngest competitor of the competition, will appear at the Summer FREE Concerts @ NEC 夏日系列音樂會on Thursday Aug 11, 7:30 pm at NEC’s Williams Hall. Program includes:

Chopin – Polonaise in B-flat Minor, Op. Posth.
– Polonaise-Fantaisie in A-flat Major, Op. 61
– Mazurkas Op. 33 (Nos. 1 to 4)
– Ballade No. 1 in G Minor, Op. 23
Debussy – Etudes, Book 2
Schubert: Fantasy in C Major, Op. 15, (D. 760) “ Wanderer”

JJ is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree at the Oberlin Conservatory under the tutelage of Professor Dang Thai Son.
