Pianist and improviser Chi Wei Lo, “Nervy, cerebral, passionate, mysterious and sensual…Flowing, aloft, and at the same time, grounded” (Boston Music Intelligencer), graduated from Juilliard, is a doctoral candidate at NEC, majoring in contemporary piano improvisation. In 2019, he was featured in a NEC video as the representation of virtuosity.
In 2018, Lo was commissioned by the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Corporation (KRTC) for its 10th anniversary, which led to the album “Twelve Over ... view more »
