Phenomenal-Women in Art

Boston Artist Heather Buechler curated the show to counter the narrative in art history and museum representation that focuses on male artists. Heather often encourages us to support underrepresented groups in the art world including women and artists of color. In this exhibit she presents us with some of her favorite women artists and the phenomenal talent across a diverse variety of mediums. The show is a resistance to the focus on male representation in the art market and at the same time a celebration of women artists.

Phenomenal-Women in Art showcases the originality, creativity and talent of women artists across diverse body of mediums and subject matter. Phenomenal-Women in Art highlights the remarkable art and the extraordinary genius of this gifted group of women artists.
