Carissa Demore joined Historic New England in 2013 and was named Team Leader of Preservation Services in 2017. Her experience includes historic preservation advocacy, protecting properties using preservation and conservation easements, and developing a variety of educational programs, workshops, lectures, and tours for preservation students, professionals, and the general public. Carissa has a B.S. in Landscape Architecture from Colorado State University and a Master’s degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Maryland and previously worked for the City of Annapolis, Maryland, and the L’Enfant Trust in Washington, D.C.
