Nearby Gallery presents " A Year In Review."

A Year in Review is a group exhibition that highlights the art practices of fourteen emerging artists. This exhibition is an opportunity to introduce Nearby Gallery artists to Newton and Greater Boston and offers an intimate look into their experiences as artist. Though the work in the exhibition may vary thematically, these artists are connected by their ability to sustain their art practice, particularly during such a harrowing year. This year has given us a lot to unpack, but as we do, we can begin to heal and build our new normal. This exhibition depicts a range of thoughts and observations bound by a historic year’s worth of uncertainty, resilience and change.

“A Year in Review” will be on view until July the 5th.

Since the CDC has lifted Covid-19 business guidelines, we feel comfortable opening at full capacity. Although Saturday will function like a typical art opening, be prepared for varying levels of comfort regarding social distancing. We ask that everyone be respectful of each other and do what makes you comfortable.
