N2: An Intimate Showing of New Works

Nozama Dance Collective invites the Greater Boston community to attend N2: An Intimate Showing of New Works, a performance at Herter Park Amphitheatre in Lower Allston for a live outdoor dance performance. The performance starts at 6:30PM on July 23rd and is free and open to the public.

After returning to the studio in February of 2021, the company started working on a series of new works. Nozama, at its core, is a collective, and N2 represents the sheer diversity and breadth of their creative voice. The five never-before-seen world premieres cover many timely aspects of the dancers’ personal experiences from the solitude of quarantine to the day to day challenges of womanhood at the various intersections that this unique group inhabits.

The Friday evening performance will be held on the beautiful, outdoor Herter Park Amphitheatre stage. Against the backdrop of trees, the minimalist styled showcase will highlight the works in progress and give the audience insight into each piece through comments by the works’ creators.
