MRTC presents 21st Century Songbook:The Works of Joe Iconis FUNDRAISER

THIS WEDNESDAY, July 15th at 5pm EST
Join the Mystic River Theater crew while we sing some Iconis songs and raise money for Black Lives Matter!  This show will be streamed and captioned on YouTubePremiere.

THE COVID with a TWIST STORY

MRTC, fresh from their February #misfitlove show at The Armory, found themselves and the world ‘sheltered in place’.

This did not stop these teens.

They rehearsed on ZOOM. Music on GoogleDrive. But, instead of a venue, MRTC created a humble portable studio, complete with protective covers, cleaning sprays, gloves, and masks, that was sent to each of the members who could not leave home. This is the foundation of MRTC, reaching LGBTQ+ teens virtually!

MRTC is still working out the details for their social-distanced reading in August.

This troupe is passionate about social justice in the world today. Black Lives Matter is a priority to them. 50% of proceeds from this fundraiser will go to #BlackLivesMatter-Act Blue
