Internationally based “BRAZILIA” has an all-star set of performers from

The US, Peru, Ukraine, and Germany. This world view gives the band a special flavor when it comes to playing Latin and Brazilian Jazz.

The members have toured and recorded with a who’s-who in the jazz world including: Paquito, Dave Liebman, Mike Stern, Dave Samuels, Nat Adderley, and Jimmy Cobb to name a few. Their feel in a perfect mix of Latin Rhythms and Jazz supported by 4 time Grammy winner Oscar Stagnaro on bass. Bassist with Paquito D’Rivera since 1992 Artistic Director, CLAEM and ALAEMUS, the Congress and the Association of Latin American Music Schools Recordings with the Caribbean Jazz Project, NDR and WDR Big Bands, United Nations Orchestra, New York Voice, and the Paquito D’Rivera Quintet. Dan Moretti -saxophone with his world experiences has him one week soloing with Nile Rodgers at the Sydney Opera house and then playing original Soul-Jazz and Straight jazz on his 20 plus album releases and various awards throughout the world. Maxim Lubarsky – piano a native of Odessa, Ukraine he acquired a love for jazz after receiving his masters in classical piano. His first group Art Session toured throughout Europe and won a number of competitions. Bertram Lehmann – Drums Rooted in solid initial orchestral percussion training and his first professional exposures, he quickly expanded into jazz and other contemporary genres, and since then has become one of the top experts on Caribbean and South American drum set practice, as well as other traditions from the African diaspora and also Africa, India, and the Mediterranean. Phil Grenadier – Trumpet Performances and recordings with John Scofield, Kenny Barron, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Chris Potter, Seamus Blake, Larry Grenadier, Bill Stewart, Steve Swallow, Jeff Ballard, Bob Moses, Ella Fitzgerald, Carlos Santana, Ben Monder, Richie Beirach, Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, and Bob Belden.

In addition to maintaining active performing careers these master musicians are all faculty at the world renown Berklee College of Music in Boston.
